Beyond the Ribbons: Why Structure Matters
At Greenstone, our focus is always on proper structure, health, and movement. While we are proud to have produced over 50 "Bred-By" Champions, our goal is to raise Labradors who are sound, healthy, and capable for life, not just dogs for competition.
Poor structure can lead to injury, chronic strain, and a shorter lifespan, while a well-built Labrador moves with balance, efficiency, and strength, helping them live a longer, healthier, and more active life. Even for families who say, “we don’t want a show dog,” structure matters—a well-structured dog is safer, more comfortable, and more durable in everyday life.
Our commitment to preserving the Labrador Retriever drives every breeding decision. We prioritize mind, body, and overall well-being, maintaining the breed’s natural athleticism, temperament, and versatility. By combining sound structure, stable temperament, and robust health, we raise Labradors who thrive as family companions, service dogs, hunting partners, or performance athletes—healthy, happy, and capable in every aspect of life.
