Simmer’s Legacy is profoundly special to Greenstone.. It’s remarkable what one special dog can contribute to—and influence within—a breeding program, and Simmer was exactly one of those for us. Her lines continue to thrive at Greenstone, securing her place as one of our true foundation girls.
Her mother, Ch. Bournhall's Mocha Latte at Bournhall, bred by Leeda Dundale, came to us from Maxine Puckett. Simmer was the only puppy we kept from Mocha’s only litter, making her an exceptionally treasured addition to our program.
Simmer was full of life, always giving everything she had. She was the kind of dog who filled your eyes with beauty and took command of the show ring in a way that made you notice her; she stole your heart. Along the way, she helped us forge lifelong friendships, and she founded the chocolate lines at Greenstone—something for which we will always be grateful. Even today, it brings us joy to see dogs in our yard who carry her unmistakable spirit, charm, and elegance.
Her show record speaks for itself, but it can never fully capture just how truly special this girl was to us.
