About Greenstone

Welcome to our little home in the rolling Texas Hill Country!

Starkey and Stacey Green are animal lovers for life and it was no surprise when we were lead to this breed to love and share our family with.   We are proud parents of seven wonderful children and are excitedly working on grandchild number six! Family is at the heart of everything we do, and that same love and commitment extends to our Labradors. Our home is filled with laughter, activity, and the joy that comes from raising exceptional dogs who share our passion for life, family, and service.

Together, we have dedicated ourselves to breeding some of the finest English Labradors in the United States—dogs with exceptional temperament, intelligence, and beauty. Many of our dogs carry a heart of service, excelling as therapy dogs and bringing comfort and joy to others. Every puppy we raise is part of our family until it goes to its forever home, and we carefully place each one with families who can provide the love, care, and lifelong commitment they deserve.

At Greenstone, our mission is simple: to raise Labradors who are not only champions in the show ring but also champions in life, spreading love, service, and happiness wherever they go.

We discovered early on in our marriage that we make a great team, complementing and strengthening one another in countless ways. Both naturally competitive, we found a shared passion in the sport of dog shows, allowing us to enjoy the challenge of breeding beautiful dogs and competing in the ring together. While we know there is no perfect dog, we are always striving for better, and every day we are grateful for the opportunity to grow and learn with these amazing dogs.

We are excited to share a new chapter at Greenstone Labradors. Haley and Dylan Gosnell have joined us, bringing fresh energy, shared values, and a deep love for the Labrador Retriever. They are more than teammates—they are family, trusted and deeply rooted in the heart of Greenstone. As we continue our long-standing commitment to preserving and improving this wonderful breed, their involvement ensures that the Greenstone legacy of excellence, integrity, and heart will carry on for generations to come.  Our future is looking bright.  ​​
